Halloween Pics (late)

A little delayed, but just about everything we do is these days :) Here are some pics from a fun Halloween weekend with friends.

Park Day

A gorgeous fall day at the park. Sydney ran herself out between animals, activities and tractor rides.

Training Wheels

The new bike (free from a yard sale!) was a hit and with a quick run to the store for a helmet and training wheels, we were up and running. That along with having her fingernails painted purple at a fall fest have me shaking my head at how big she looks.

The look on my face is joy of doing something very fatherly combined with utter frustration at the lack of directions.

Sydney was fortunate to have a special aunt in town who showered her with love. We'll have to figure out what to do this week without her!

Sleepover!

Big Sister just couldn't wait so we had the first sleepover last night. We were politely asked to leave we which we politely declined. Then she was not happy when she realized the sleepover was only going to last 10 minutes. We promised many more.

Pony Rides

While we were in the hospital with little Carter, Sydney was enjoying a first at the Bluemont fair which was riding ponies! Apparently she loved it and we were lucky to have grandma capture this photo.

Little boy popped out on September 16th at about 10am. I liked this unusual photo which caught the footprinting in progress.

A last dinner as a threesome :)

1 Day and Counting....

There is just no more room and this kid is trying to remove ribs so he can stretch out. Both of them will be happy when this is over.

Wouldn't be Virginia without a Saturday morning horse show and rodeo! Sydney's favorite is the blue tractor.

Cooler Weather!

Finally some cooler weather and we've been taking advantage by trying to eat just about every meal on the deck and relax in our comfy grown up and "big girl" chairs.

Practice, Practice, Practice

Sydney got some practice holding a friend's baby over the weekend. Sydney loved it and I think she could have sat like this all day long.
